This dark roasted malt flour has a deep, rich and warm flavour. It is typically used in multi grain and brown bread to give a richer colour of the crumb and crust, and a more rounded flavour of the bread. Similar to brown beer and coffee. Also known for it’s use in woudkornbrood.

Organic malt flour dark roasted is used to improve the aroma and crumb color of various bakery products.

Dosage: 0.5 to 3% of the amount of flour, 5 to 30 g per kg of flour
